Our classes are designed to follow a specific progression system. By following the system, athletes will learn skills more efficiently allowing them to advance at a rapid pace. For our current class schedule, see the "Forms" page.
Our beginner level classes require no prior tumbling experience. In these classes, athletes will learn the foundations of tumbling to develop balance and coordination. This is a great class for any one who would like to advance in the sport of tumbling, or to simply develop skills that will benefit all other athletic activities.
Athletes will focus on learning the following skills: forward and backward rolls, hand stands, cartwheels, front and back walkovers, as well as round offs.
Beginner / Intermediate
The beginner / intermediate level classes require athletes to have a basic foundation in tumbling. Athletes must have all of the skills taught in our beginner level classes. These classes are designed to focus specifically on learning and practicing back handsprings.
Prerequisites: forward and backward rolls, hand stands, cartwheels, front and back walkovers, as well as round offs.
Our Intermediate classes require athletes to have mastered two specific tumbling skills: a standing back handspring and a round off back handspring. Althletes will continue to focus on these skills, as well as learn back tucks and back handspring series to a back tuck.
Prerequisites: Standing back handspring & round off back handspring.
Intermediate / Advanced
Once an athlete has learned a back tuck, this class will allow them to advance to more difficult tumbling skills. This class is designed for athletes to learn lay outs, full twists, and alternate passes.
Prerequisites: Back handspring series to a back tuck.
Our Advanced classes offer instruction on tumbling skills of the highest difficulty. This class is designed for athletes to learn double full twists, alternate passes to a full and alternate passes to a double full.
Prerequisites: Full twisting lay out.
Stretch / Jump Class
This class is for all ages and skill levels. For 30 minutes, this class focuses on flexibility, body positions, and jump technique.
